Rudy, was in the Army from about 1942 to about 1945.  After he came out of the service he began working on Ranches.

He worked on Shriner Ranch in Mountain Home, Texas when he married Lois Evelyn (Pillow) (Griffin)

and they had their daughter Claudia Ann Peschel.

In about 1954 they moved to Mont Belvieu, Texas (Barbers Hill) where he worked in the oil fields until he got a job for Warren Petroleum Corp. in Mont Belvieu.

He worked there until 1976.

He also rode horses helping friends working cows and he also done Horse Shoeing on the side.

He and Lois got a Divorce in 1966.  At that time he tended to drink a lot.  We beleive that is what accelerated his Muscular Dystrophey.

In 1986 he bought property in Weatherford, Tx in a community called Western Lake Estates.

He has been there up to now which is year 2000.

He is a very strong willed person and has not let the Muscular Dystrophey get him down. Although he has been in a wheel chair since about 1995 he is still very active to be in the condition that he is in.

This report has been written by his daughter Claudia and I will add as I can think of more to write.

I am not really good at writing anything.





More About RUDOLPH PESCHEL:

Medical Information: Was very active at a younger age but in about 1976 he was diagnosed as have Muscular Dystrophey.  It is the kind that is carried by the women in the family but it shows up in some of the men later.

Was a very good man and a hard worker.  

Worked in a grocery store from age 12 to 18 when he married Claudia.  Then he worked construction work until he got a job reading meters for the gas company in Baytown, Tx.  Then he went to work at a chemical company in Deer Park, Tx and worked there until he and Claudia got a Divorce.

When he married his second wife he went to driving a 18 Wheel truck.

Then he and his second wife got a divorce and he met a girl that also drove a Truck.

In February 1976 he left out on a trip to St. Louis, Missouri hauling antifreeze.  In the town of St. Geniveve, Missouri, not far from his destination he had a blow out on one of his front tires and the truck swerved and hit a rock inbankment and went up the inbankment, the Cab of the truck came apart and went into the Tanker and hours later the truck exploded and caught on fire.  

His body was never recovered so it was assumed that he burned to death in the fire.

The Family and Friends just buried about 35lbs of some sort of matter in Baytown, Texas.

Bobby was very loved and respected by anyone that knew him including his first wife that never feel out of love with him.
